The only Dogs run scored in the 5th on a walk, sac bunt, SB, and a throwing error on the SB.   Their only hit (7th inning) played no part in the run scoring, and was a Johnson bloop double just out of Banks’ reach.   The walk and bloop double were the only two baserunners allowed by Hendley.

Imagine that having been a double no-hitter, if Banks catches Johnson’s blooper.   Only happened once (for 9 innings) in MLB history.

Even better, imagine the walk not happening and Banks catching Johnson’s bloop double.

Double 9 innings perfect games?

ALS is a disease that takes away motor neurons in your nervous system. This breaks down muscle cells and makes them weak, and eventually non-functional.

In the popular children's game, Red Rover, one side tries to break through the other, who have their arms linked together. If successful, the child who broke through gets to take away the two linked players, and add them to his team, thus weakening the other team. Kind of like a couple motor neurons being lost and weakening the muscles.

Also, to stop someone from breaking through, it takes strength and muscles from the two linked players. If they break through, it's like the disease breaking through the muscles and weakening them, and thus weakening the entire nervous system.

Lou is playing 4D chess, guys.
