The ball cleared the 86-foot high right field roof at Forbes Field and was estimated to travel 550-600 feet. Stories vary on what happened to the ball. One account had some boys chasing it down Joncaire Street by the stadium. Another report said it landed in the backyard of a house. Whatever happened, the ball was returned by a boy of the neighborhood and is in Cooperstown today.

Mick was as fast in those first few years, as Trout has been here.    Before the injuries took their toll, Mick was Ken Griffey Jr. and/or Trout, hitting like Griffey Jr. from the left side and Trout from the right side, while flashing blazing speed ala Trout.
