Might be wrong to say.  But remember in Spring Training, when he came into camp all trim and light.  He attributed it to his new "diet".

 

MLB starts blood testing for HGH this season.  And now the disaster of a start.  

 

Hopefully he gets in a groove.  But if he doesn't, will make you wonder.

No wonder from me. I always suspected he was not strictly an orange, apple and Jesus juice kind of guy.

I didn't know about the HGH testing starting this season, but it does bring the picture into better focus, don't it?

Going back to last season, at some point, he suddenly started swinging more than he used to...and struck out way more than he ever did. He's continuing that trend this year. It's not a good trend

 

the days of him hitting for any good BA might just be over. You aren't going to hit .280+ striking out over 25% of the time
