Shuck bunting on a 3-1 count with two men on and nobody out in the 8th, after O'Day threw 7 of 8 pitches out of the strike zone. Actually, eight pitches, since the strike call on 3-0 was atrocious.

 

We did get the tying run, but who knows if we might have gotten more. Bases loaded, nobody out with Aybar, Trout, and Pujols.

Points 1-4 are all related. Why pinch hit for Iannetta if you're doing so with Scott ****ing Cousins? Especially if it's going to remove the DH and force double switches later in the game.

 

Scioscia, if you really want to manage NL style, then go ****ing manage an NL team and stop ****ing with this one.

Why is he holding Trout on base. He needed to run early in the count in the 8th inning. The pitcher threw the ball side armed (slow wind up). He would of gotten the bag. Let Trout steal some bases!

I went to the gym when we were down 3-0, when I got back the score was 4-4 and I assumed Iannetta was out of the game due to injury.  I'm glad I didn't see that PH move because I probably would have thrown my remote at the TV.

Lots of people are saying Scioscia doesn't motivate the team the way he did in 2002. Could it be, he still manages the team in the clubhouse the same way he did then, but in 2002 there were players that motivated eachother. Team leaders as it were.

I just don't see a lot of passion from the vets. It is more of a laid back feel and the young guys are following their lead.

I'm not sure why, but I seem to enjoy the fact that I imagine you're generally probably an unhappy person.

 

I have no idea why I get that feeling and stranger yet, I don't know why it warms me inside.
