I wonder if Pujols is going to have surgery as well on his foot for the plantar fasciatis.  I'd like to see a season where he doesn't run like a duck around the bases.

Surgery is not always the best answer for plantar.  Pujols is not going to pick up any speed no matter what course of action is selected.

Plantar fasciitis is a series of microscopic tears in the plantar fascia. A case has to be pretty advanced for surgery to provide any benefit.

Albert needs to lose 30 pounds, his weight is not helping his issues. And he's always run poorly, for some reason he loves landing on his heels not his toes.

I hate hearing guys having surgery. Hope this is the best thing for Kole.

2017 should be the last that we see of Pujols at 1B (and for only some 30-40 starts), sans emergency starts beyond 2017.

Yep, I have a friend that had the surgery last year but she still has all kinds of foot pain. I don't think Pujols will ever be close to 100% again

Yes, by technical definition.

MLBPA needs to demand they be allowed to use courtesy runners. I know it extended my softball career by 10 years.
