Playoff Predictions Thread

Recommended Posts

It's October and that means it's "anything can happen" time again.

I'm (not so) boldly going to predict that Baltimore wins tomorrow in Toronto, and rides the momentum to knock out Texas. That Texas long-ball stadium will work against them (again) , and the Dallas faithful will be right back where they really belong in mid October, watching the Cowboys.

You had the pick 9 until the last race. There should be a small consolation payoff.

After posting the worst season stats of his career ..230 306 325 631...

Opponents will be looking past him and concentrating on Rizzo and Bryant, (and others like Baez. Soler, the rookie Contraras) and Jason Heyward will step up big for the Cubs in the post season. Timely hits and RBI in big games.

I just saw Chris Tillman is starting today for the orioles.  That wouldn't give me much confidence if I was an orioles fan.

Stroman isn't exactly a stellar choice either. Losing record this season and 2-1 with a .704 era against the O's.

TOR had to burn their best pitcher (Sanchez) in the last game of the season. 1 games are usually bullpen affairs anyhow.
