Read the book if you get a chance. Brett Easton Ellis did a fantastic job and it's fun to pick out the little differences between it and the movie.

read it a few times. its hilarious. way better than the movie, and i love the movie.

i love the little hints to sarte and existentialism in there, especially the ending "THIS IS NOT AN EXIT." or how it starts with a dante's inferno reference right on the first line.

great book. best part is you can read it in a weekend.

Thats pretty rad that you met a woman that could quote your favorite movie with you. Total keeper. So far i keep finding girls that are into the same shots i am, but not a lot of quotables after that. Same hangovers though, theres always that connection.
