I think the Angels will try and claim him and put him in the bullpen as a lefty or try to waive him themselves down to the Minors.

Yes but he is a high groundball rate pitcher to both sides of the plate and is probably experiencing a mechanical difficulty or some type of pitch problem. I'd take a chance as he has one more year of pre-arbitration control. The Angels might pass but I think they also might try just to see.

Probably not enough time left in the season to get much of a look at him....I don't have a problem with what Eppler has done, given our circumstances, with all these guys but at some point this winter, some of them will have to be let go to clear room on the 40 man roster....you can't be a half way house (pun intended) for every reclamation project out there....
