Might have worked better for Calhoun a few years ago. Right now all Cowart has done is throw the ball across the infield pretty well, and maybe show vague intimations of a major league bat.

But yeah, at this point we need to see more Cowart.

Would like to see Cowart at 2b and Marte in LF the rest of the way.....Just don't see the reason to play Buss, Petit, Pennington, Ortega over either Cowart or Marte right now.....those guys are fine for defense and to rest the regular guys but let's see Cowart at 2b and Marte in LF....

The team seems to do better when Cowart is in the lineup, but I'm too lazy to see if that's actually true.

 

I think he deserves as much playing time as possible; it's not like this team is in the middle of a pennant race or anything.
