They are royally fucking up their draft pick chances. It would not at all surprise me to see them have a hot September and get the 13th pick while missing the playoffs by 15 games.

I love seeing them win, but come on now. They have to win out to even have a shot at the postseason and that just isn't happening.

The crazy thing going on right now is that after being sellers and dumping big salaries at the deadline the Yankees are seriously still in the hunt for a wild card spot.

Never fear, the September 2 through October 2 schedule is a tough one.

23 of the 29 games are against teams still in the post-season hunt (Texas, Seattle, Houston, and Toronto).

I remember when Bartolo Colon did that to us.  It was my first opening day, and only opening day I ever attended.  Coincidence, I think not.
