That's how many of the 125 starts Trout has not gotten on-base through his own power, either a hit, walk, or hbp.

To put that another way, Trout has gotten on base in 87% of the games he's started this year. I don't know what the record is, but that sounds pretty damn good to me.

I just looked at Barry Bonds record .609 OBP year in 2004 (such a crazy stat) and he had only 4 games all year that he didn't get on base. 4 games!

Bonds was insane in his juice years. We all paid attention to his power, but he had a phenom eye to go with it

Of course, that was probably back when teams intentionally walked him at least once per game.

I was at a Doyers / Giants game at the ravine with the Dogs winning 1-0 in top of the 9th inning. Bonds led off the inning and Gagne intentionally walked him. He didn't want anything to do with Bonds.

In 1948, excluding two pinch-hit appearances, there were only three games all season where Ted Williams did not reach base safely. In 1949 there were only five games. This was the season he reached safely in 84 straight games.
