I'm usually fairly positive but I have to admit that it will be hard to watch tonights game. I just can't stand the Dodgers and the thought of Shoemaker starting tonight shakes my confidence to the point that another bad game from him against the team I loath could send me into a deep depression. lol

Hopefully facing Iwakuma recently will prep the Angels for Maeda. I hear they're styles & repertoire are similar.

I realize we don't have any real option for tonight, and I know there isn't an alternative, but Jesus H, is the Shoe the best we can do? (this is a rhetorical question)

Shoemaker has the makings of a fine pitcher.  Listening to the St Louis announcers during his last start they said he had a fine arm but location is why he got bombed.  I sure hope Shoe gets it together.
