Angels vs. Twins series at Target Field (April 15th-17th)

My son Jared just recently moved there, well 2 hours north of Minneapolis, but he'll be meeting me there that weekend to take in an Angels' game or two and to celebrate his 21st birthday (could get ugly).

Anyhow, if any of you have ever been or can recommend some good bars, places to eat or sight see in the area (We'll be Ubering everywhere) I'd love your recommendations and feedback.

Also, if you're out there for the series we'll tip one back together. Drink or Beer on me!

There is a whole bunch of bars and pubs in the downtown around the stadiums which are about eight blocks apart. 1st Ave has competing Irish Pubs and the surrounding blocks are all restaurants, bars, nightclubs, even a strip club on 5th street. Have the Uber drop you off at 1st ave and 7th street and take a walk.

Me and my friends go to Minneapolis quite a bit. Sneaky Petes and Brothers are our go-to bars when down there. But a place like The Pint might be a little more appropriate of a place to grab a drink with your son. I wouldn't take my dad to Sneaky Petes that's for sure. There's also a nice sports bar right outside the right field exit/entrance way at Target Field but I forget what it's called. Target Field is a really nice ballpark btw.

Minneapolis is one of my favorite cities to visit, their downtown is nice and clean. Me and my girlfriend may make the trip down for this series but after recently blowing my load on NFCCG and SB tickets only to be heartbroken I may hold off.

Don't waste your time at Mall of America unless it's something you REALLY want to see.

Thanks for all the tips, CanadianHalo! Jotted down!

The only reason I'm going to the Mall of America is because an old friend and member of this website bartends there.

Bad ass...I hope you were able to still sell them with your load all over them.
