As with any stats take them for what their worth.  The rams offensive line isn't as good as last year which you can tell by just watching them play but at least based on the links through week 12 they aren't terrible either.  Watching them play this year they seem to be a pretty vanilla offense more often than not while last year they were getting praised for McVay's creativity.  Not sure how much of it is personnel, the league adjusting or guys simply regressing.

Without a solid OL, yes for sure

I'm not buying it. The Chiefs have so many injuries no one that started the on the line is playing and we are throwing out practice squad guys on the line but Mahomes can still make it happen. The o-line is a poor excuse for a mediocre QB that doesn't do enough to win games or put his team in better situations.

Goff isn't good. He's better than Trubisky, but not much. I heard some talking head mention the Matt Ryan line as the base line for whether you pay a QB or not, he's not better than Matt Ryan. I would have never paid him that money because of a fluke year with a great cast and scheme around him. It was obvious. And now that Gurley is damaged goods it's even worse.

Agreed that he should not have gotten more than Matt Ryan, especially the guaranteed amount which was significantly above where it should have been for a guy with two good seasons under his belt in the NFL.

I guess a good analogy to Goff would be Bronco RB's.   For years, one RB after another succeeded in Denver, from the great (Terrell Davis) to the average, due to the offensive scheme.

Not only is Gurley's health questionable, but so is Malcolm Brown's, another guy with good RB stats when healthy.

Yesterday was a good start, totally dominating an improved Cardinals team on the road.   Murray never really got started, pressure and more pressure leading to several sacks.

Goff was big, and Gurley looked solid enough and even had a 28 yard TD called back.

The "improved" Cardinals are not a good team and prior to yesterday's game they ranked dead last in pass defense.  The Cardinals haven't won a game since October 20th and their 3 wins this season are against Cincinnati, Atlanta and the Giants who are a combined 6-20.  Yesterday was an average Rams team beating up on a bad Cardinals team.  The Rams have beaten one team this year that's currently above .500 and that was the Saints game when Brees only threw 5 passes before injuring his thumb hitting Donald's helmet which required surgery.

The past 3 games though, Arizona lost a pair of games to the 49ers by only a combined 13 pts, and lost by just 3 at TB.

Arizona's offense had been solid this season, averaging around 23 pts/game before yesterday.    The Rams defense did to them what no one had done for several weeks, dominate them.

But yeah, the Rams had better not be lured into a false sense of security.    Three tough, tough games remain, in addition to Arizona at the Coliseum.

And the magical fumble/ not fumble that the refs and whoever runs the replay booth.

You guys are fucked. You have SEA, DAL, SF, ARI.....you have at best 2-2.

I will eat a little crow, maybe a wing, as Goff put up some numbers and I have been critical of him. But the Cardinals are terrible and not who I would use as a barometer of how the team is doing.

Well, they do look like a totally different team these last 2 games, like the 2017-2018 Rams.

Seattle rarely gets dominated like that.   When was the last time they were held without an offensive TD?

Only downer was the two Goff INT's, including the one pick 6.    Still, he completed 70% of his passes for almost 300 yards.

OL was very good, no sacks.

The jet sweep even returned, 5 carries for 58 yards between Woods and Reynolds.

If not for Greg the Leg's near miss in Seattle that he usually makes 99 out of 100 times, the Rams would be tied with both the Vikings and Seahawks in a what would be a wild WC race for the two spots.

The TB loss looks real bad now.
