Anyways thought it was great to see Howie make the last out tonight. Everything he swung at was nowhwere near the zone.

I still cant believe Dipoto got Heaney for one miserable year of Howie. Gotta suck to be a Dogs fan right now. Heres to hoping they lose both Howie and Cranky this offseason.

No it isnt. Howie sucks and im still mad his pathetic at bats cost us many chances to win a World Series.

That last at bat by Howie was a prime example of why I wanted him gone for years. I never saw that posting by Howie but what a dick. Maybe if he ate, slept and breathed baseball he would learn how to lay off sliders away in big games. Man I'm glad we got Heaney and the Dodgers got to experience a little bit of the frustration in the playoffs that we had to endure for years.

Well said. I've wanted him gone for years too.

Howie has a knack for having solid regular seasons. Over the course of a year, he'll get enough fastballs to produce a quality average and he'll even provide some pop.

But in any type of important game, he will fail you. Hes getting the same pitches he got when he played for us in October. Everyone knows to throw him crap and watch him swing at it. He just never learns, it reminds me a lot of Hamilton.

Howie was a good Angel that gave everything he had to this team for years.  If he played for any other team I would have been rooting for him to get a ring.
