What do you think of their MLB playoff coverage and their coverage in general?

 

I can't stand the channel.  I watch pre and post game stuff on MLB Network.  TBS is ok, too, as long as I mute the promos that they repeat every commercial break.

 

Pete Rose and Frank Thomas were great players. They are less than stellar on tv.

I admit I don't listen to a lot of the commentary, I've heard it all before.

 

"Houston strikes out and they hit home runs" but tonight they manufactured a run, can they continue to do that...?"

Dish network subscribers (like me) can't stream fox sports go.

They have no f'n agreement. Punishment for Dish-Fox disputes of the past.

And I have always hated Fox coverage of major sporting events.

I've never cared for the TBS coverage, in large part because I don't care for 3 person booths and it's also quite apparent the broadcasting team doesn't work together on a regular basis. It's much like watching the Fox Saturday national broadcasts.

 

I enjoyed Jim Kaat talking about how the ump missed a strike/ball call, as the pitch tracker was on the screen showing it was a correctly called strike, a few minutes ago

I think Fox's baseball coverage sucks. They are the only ones who have the score box on the bottom left of the screen, which gets in the way of the game too often. It used to be on the upper left. ESPN has the box on the lower right, which is better.

last night was the first time i had watched their baseball coverage. i have no plans to watch them again. there wasn't anything interesting or insightful from any of them. i have MLB and i'll stick with them.

 

the main sports anchors on FS1 are beyond horrible. i can't stand watching them. i'll go 8-12 months without watching them, hoping they've improved or changed to new guys, but nothing is any different. my goodness, i don't know how anyone can stomach them for anything beyond 15 seconds. they have the maturity of seventh graders.
