Our final 4 games will be in Texas.

Could there be a situation in which the Rangers clinch the division and we clinch the wild card in the same game?

Thereby, both sides are celebrating on the field at the same time and in the locker rooms.

 

Something like we win the game and Houston loses somewhere else.

Bogaerts isn't going anywhere. He's had a great season and the redsox are going to hang on to the few young productive players they have.

It would probably be best advised to plan for Albert Pujols to be our full time DH starting next season. If we trade Cron we are going to have to find a 1st baseman also

I would be great to have Albert as DH all year. The problem is that he will never agree to it, and we will be forced to watch him run in his big lead boots for at least 3-4 months.

He never reported to spring training or broke camp with the team so, **** no.

He can use the 100 million or so he's getting from the Angels and buy himself something nice.

I think you could buy a few counties in Texas for that.

I guess if the Rangers and Angels go into the final day with Texas up by 2 games over Angels and 1 game over Astros, and the Angels beating the Rangers at the same exact second of the Astros losing to the D-Backs, there'd be some celebrating going on. The Rangers would clinch the division and the Angels would clinch a one game playoff for the WC2 spot.
