Exactly, 4.5 games back is too far to climb.

The Halos aren't taking 3 or 4 games from them in Tejas, just not happening.

Hope for a miracle this afternoon from Tropeano, and hope for a Tejas sweep in Houston and for Cleveland to take 4 of the next 6 from the Twins.

Lou, I hope that we have something to play for when we start playing on Oct 1 in Texas. I do not just want to be a spoiler, I want to at least tie for the second wild card.

Yep, and that was back when Tejas was not very good at several games under .500 and the Halos were playing really well for a stretch.

Totally different situation now for Tejas, the 2nd best team in the AL since August 1.

My hope is Texas sweeps Houston, if they do we have a very good chance of going to the playoffs. If Texas has the division wrapped up by the time we play them then we have a better chance of beating them.
