Whatever you do don't say you are good at dominoes. Always say you just learned or are not very good, don't slam them and say you are lucky if you are constantly getting points. The 3 of them can and will team up on you to shut you down just to prove a  point. If you are still on the table after 2 or 3 games then you are hanging in there. If they replace you right away then you know you are not very good. There is so much to learn about this game and knowing when to play defense so your partner can score and to score yourself.

I first experienced this in the prison setting. I walked into a housing unit activity room and I heard intermittent banging. At first I had no idea what it was. Then I saw that it was black inmates playing dominoes and slamming their scoring tiles down on the steel tables.
