He just needs a full two series off. Currently he is of no value unable to field a position nor hit which at some point Scioscia needs to do what is best for the team and playoff hopes and replace him. There are too many times Scioscia has tunnel vision, currenty he is displaying that.

He did this in 2013. It's great that he wants to tough it up and be out there for his team mates but the fact is that his play is hurting the team and not helping it. He needs to be shut down because if he keeps playing then Sosh will keep batting him in the middle of the order

Navarro should be able to supply at least a mid-upper .600s OPS and the defense that Pujols can't give them currently.

No brainer, sit Pujols at least for tomorrow's DH and for one game in Houston, and then for one game in each of the other 3 remaining series.

Bench him if he is hurting!!! His 0-20  pretty much validates this. Put Navarro @ 1st and DH Cron.  This will give us a better chance of winning.

It's obvious that this ORG doesn't want to get to the playoffs.  When you don't put the best team you possibly can on the field, you don't expect to win.  Pujols is terrible and has and will continue to play.  As others here have pointed out, Scioscia has better options but doesn't care.

Pujols is one of two people in the Angels organization with the authority to veto Scioscia. He will remain in unless his limbs fall off in Monty Python and the Holy Grail fashion
