We only need to go 16-2 to realistically have a shot at the playoffs.

We could lose more than two and still get into the wild card so long as none of those losses occur in games against Minnesota or whoever loses the next Houston V Texas game.

The playoffs are not within sight right now. It's pretty simple, focus on the next game, and do everything you can to win it. Maybe something miraculous will happen if we win enough games.

Funny part is Huston is chocking pretty hard right now and they may just drop out of the Wild Card if they don't get their shit together. They are 4-9 for September.

Hah, you are right, most of the post is applicable in both situations.

The Astros are struggling. Their pitching is fading, their wait for the home run is taking longer and teams are figuring out how to attack and defend against them. The Angels really wasted this season going into it without a left fielder and a light hitting 2nd base. They really have trouble extending innings with their lineup.

Just read in the L.A. Times that Huston Street has "flu-like symptoms" and has lost 13 pounds. He expects to be available for tonight's game.

That partly explains every ball being hit hard on Sunday, although he also has a rep for not pitching well when overused too much.
