Yeah, I thought Gurley was on his way to the Heisman before his leg injury.

But as stated, subjective. You never know who is going to pan out.

I think QB is more important, but with Bradford and whoever that terrible guy was for the Jags from Mizzou is, you just don't know.

I liked Cooper the best just wasn't sure if he was the next Julio Jones or AJ Green. Guy was a beast at Alabama.

There's no denying the NFL is a passing league now but that makes backs like Gurley even more valuable because they're few and far between.  What he's doing and the promise he shows isn't something the league has seen since AP was drafted.  Cooper is a stud and fun to watch but so far through 6 games he's had 3 huge games against average defenses while he's been shut down by good defenses.  Since Gurley has been starting he's lit up all 3 defenses he's played and seems to only be getting better or rather becoming more comfortable in the NFL.  Small sample size for both and I'm not trying to take anything away from Cooper but I'll take a once in a decade RB over a guy who might be an all pro WR a few times in his career.  That said it's a fun conversation and will be interesting to see how things pan out 5-10 years from now especially in regards to Gurley and whether or not he stays healthy because that's one area a WR generally has an advantage.

It's the Lions, but this is the defense and offense everyone expected this year.

Very different season if they played like this all year and don't lose to bad teams like the Bears and Vikings. The next game is in Denver, but after that they can run the table with games against OAK (2), SD (2), Bills, Browns, and Ravens.

The Saints/Giants game was nuts with 14 TD's before a FG was made which was an NFL record, 3rd most combined points in NFL history and it ends after a fumbled punt return put NO in FG territory with enough time for the 50 yarder and nothing else.  Balt/SD ended on a FG while Atlanta scored with less than 30 seconds left to tie only to lose it in OT.  Every year Matt Ryan looks like he's going to turn a corner then he starts turning the ball over and reminds you he's more Tony Romo than an elite QB.  A lot of injuries today with some big names going down and at one point it seemed like every game had someone who got carted off - L. Bell, L. Donnell, K. Robinson and S. Smith to name a few.

Same old shit with this team. Even against a diminished Peyton....the defense still folds whenever they have to face a quality opponent/smart veteran QB. Peyton's arm is weak these days but he had receivers runjing free all over the field. The defense folding was not surprising....what's alarming is their offense. The loss of Jordy is really showing now. They've been poor for weeks now and their scheme is being exposed for it's lack of creativity. They are doing nothing to get their guys certain looks...just keep running the same old sets and getting shut down by secondaries because their receivers are unable to create separation. For some reason, they just don't go with any quick passes and they neglect th emiddle of the field way too much

They need to look at what the Pats and Chargers do with their offenses. Pack should be running stuff like that especially with no deep threat now that Jordy is gone. Watch Brady and the Pats just dice Denver up with quick passes over the middle all game.

God, I hope this offensive performance wasn't a fluke.

Wait and see. Dom's defense has always been a joke vs any smart, veteran QB. No issues dissecting it and the middle of the field is there all night long. Been that way for years

Peyton's throws still lacked velocity but there wasn't much worry with a pass rush that didn't do anything and him having receivers running free over the middle all night
