Well that loss certainly blows.  Thank god football was on so I didn't realize the Astros came back till about 7pm tonight.  The angels still have somewhere between a 10-15% shot to make the playoffs.  Will they do it?  Probably not, but I sure as hell am gonna root for them to do so.  The MLB is all about getting hot at the right time and if they Angels can get their month long hot streak from June to happen for the next month or so we could be going to World Series games at the big A.

 

Edit: odds are better than I thought, according to fangraphs the Halos have a 20.3% chance to make the post season still.  Not great but not season over that's for sure.
