I just turned on the game.  Is there some reason Tropeano is being taken out in the 5th inning?

Scioscia wanted to challenge them with a lefty-lefty matchup with instead of having Tropeano pitch around the guy and at worst set up a GIDP and force at home

The reason Tropeano was lifted is that he gave up 8 hits in 4 1/3 innings, and they weren't cheap hits either. Almost all were hit hard, I'm at the game and I saw them all unfortunately.

This lineup 1-7 looks so much better with Freese back. Sucks Gia was hurt because catcher would be the only truly awful offensive position left.
