This teams Pitching depth will be tested next year, now is not the time to trade Santiago.

Much better to see how next year's rotation is performing before they trade him for a Bat.

 

Shoemaker might not be the same next year after his latest injury, Weaver will probally be given a chance to pitch himself off the team, Wilson will probally out of loyalty be given a rotation spot too. Then there is a big question mark how well Skaggs is when he's back.

Then there is Heaney's sophmore season that could be shaky.

I like Weaver's 64 mph curveball, it has little league written all over it.  It makes the hitters look like idiots.

Just got back from the game. Probably the least bitching about the team that I've heard at the ballpark in recent memory. Aside from Scioscia replacing Murphy with Victorino there was not much to complain about

That said I'm a bit disappointed Hamilton did not have a plate appearance. I was sitting on the third base side and was looking forward to at least booing him if not catching and throwing back a foul ball
