When I hear those words I shudder a bit.

We are not as deep in starting pitching as we thought.  All it takes is a couple of injuries like this and we could be toast for a long time.  Trying to fix the offense and pitching at the same time would be overwhelming.

Time to convert him to relief pitching after this season, throwing the splitter a lot over some 180-200 innings a year does a lot to the arm.

Could be one dominant late innings reliever with it.

And they need to add a righty starter this off-season, unless Chris Ellis can become a solid #3-#4 starter on the fast track.

Man we are super ****ed if this is serious. Skaggs will have to be pampered next year, who knows what we will get from Wilson, weaver is a question mark, no guarantees in our rotation. And then the offense, absolutely abysmal with no help. We are going to be bad for a long time. If we didn't have bad luck we wouldn't have luck at all.

I initially had the same concern when I read about his injury yesterday. There's no tear in his  ligaments, though, so it's not TJ. I do worry that he might be heading towards that path if he continues to throw too many pitches.
