When people complain about Gubi, they have dozens of concrete examples. Same with Smith.

When people complained about Hudler, they had specific examples. Lots of them. (I personally liked Hud).

The main complaint about Victor from Soto has been that he's "sarcastic". And I remember one specific example about a fly out, and Victor mentioned that Trout was left on deck.

And another person doesn't like "Drive home safely".

Well, call the feds. In this dreck of a season, if those are the biggest complaints, I am failing to see the problem.

YK, your feathers are sure ruffled over me disliking victor's sarcasm. FYI, I don't make the telecast hires or fires. my opinion of Rojas doesn't impact his job at all. There's also no campaign against victor. There was a rumor, seemingly unsubstantiated, that Orsillo was coming here.

FWIW, I don't even believe it.

You must be in BM's camp, and will mute in protest if he departs.

I've always been a Starr, Enberg guy. Didn't like Sutton, Impemba, Butita either.

I did like Torre and Reggie. That season or two was awesome.

Count me in with those who do not want to see Victor go.  I like him a lot.  I wouldn't mind the Angels bringing Langston to TV with Victor and Gubi to radio with Smith.

 

Being all of this come from a dude on Twitter and on baseball blog, I'm calling bullshit on the entire thing.

Just announced; Don Orsillo is going to SD Padres and will replace Dick Emberg who is retiring end of next season (2016).  Don will be the TV guy for all road games next year and full time in 2017.
