...I will still be watching every game I can on MLB.tv, and I will still be rooting for the team to win, and I will still be making my yearly road trip down to OC from Idaho to catch a home series in September, because this may be a pretty crappy team right now, but dammit its MY pretty crappy team.

Most mid-westerners root for the Tigers or do they not suck enough. :)

Idaho is actually part of the Rocky Mountains, and we identify more with the Pacific Northwest. Also I was born and raised in Huntington Beach. If you call me a mid-westerner again I will shake my fist in great anger  :D

Edit: And burn Hamiltown to the ground, whilst shaking my fist in great anger!

You're a better fan than I, John.

I remember the late 80's early 90's Angels teams. We were season tickets holders and still went to almost every game even when Angel Stadium was a giant concrete fish bowl to accommodate the Los Angeles Rams of Anaheim.

Whether you shake your fist in great anger or burn Hamiltown, both seem like appropriate responses. You could also do both, which would probably be the most appropriate response.

I did the Hamiltown one first, but I was watching the Simpsons episode where the Shelbyville residents show their rage by "shaking their fist in anger" and it seemed funnier to me than the Hamiltown dig lol
