So you want him to go back in time and make some trades in 2004?

I want him to go back in time and prevent Reagins from making any trades between 2009 and 2012

No, just not be so rigid NOW in keeping every key prospect. As the OC Register article said, he has no concept on how to determine which prospects to keep and which to trade. Isn't that one of the key tenets of a GM?

How many years out of 55 has this franchise truly been run effectively? Seems that no consistency exists beyond a few years.

Every single team has down times, even the beloved Cardinals. We are now an organization that is over .500. I'm sure you remember a time where you thought that would never happen in your lifetime.

This is a weird season.  I cant wait til its over so I can figure out whether I want to criticize everyone or be happy.

It's easy to criticize just about everything related to Angels baseball right now.  For certain people it's fun to criticize, but after a while it becomes like an ugly hangover that won't go away.  The worse the situation gets, the uglier the rebuilding process becomes, and I'm afraid things will get a lot worse before they start to get better.  There doesn't appear to any quick fixes until some of the hefty older player contracts expire.  I can't imagine what it would be like to be in last pace in the division, maybe the only thing positive to discuss would be who is going to be the team's first pick in the June player draft.  I'll bet that things are real peachy on AthleticsWin.com and MarinersWin.com right now too.

But, there is no reason for him to be dealing away prospects for a team that is not one player or even two players away from being stabilized. So making moves now, while he is only the steward of the franchise, would seriously impede the work of the GM the Angels will settle upon in the off season.

I would much prefer Stoneman feed the 25 man roster from players currently in the organization on the 40 man roster and not fiddle **** with the future when he won't be the architect of the next 5 years. That would be more aimless mismanagement of resources and thankfully he is not of that mindset.

You seem to be.
