The rare times I even turn on AM radio anymore is to listen to Petros and Money. Nothing political.

My mom travelled out from So Cal to San Antonio with her sister and my uncle where they burned his shows on disc and played them the whole time.  She did not travel back with them. Apparently my uncle screamed at the dash the whole time also.

He's a pretty interesting guy and backed into this subject matter. He's really just a Randian objectivist. I find his talks interesting.  I don't know if he's right or wrong but I suspect he's right that technology will be the key in improving the environment in terms of creating ways to remove CO2.

Objectively it is going to take across the board improvements. We will need to use less fossil fuels through changed behavior and greater energy efficiency, make clean energy more efficient, improve battery efficiency, plant more trees, develop Co2 removal tech and we will still fail to meet our goals for reducing global temperatures. In the end we will end up investing trillions into sea walls and relocation.

my B-I-L was a big  fan of rush limbaugh, so on his recommendation i tried to listen to him. couldn't last more than ten minutes as he spent the majority of his time insulting people he disagreed with (very similar to trump based on the small sample i was able to listen to). tried listening a couple other times but nothing had changed. i thought he was a big blowhard but i'll admit i liked his use of "Femi-nazi".

Apparently he had an "AIDS Update" where he mocked people who were dying of AIDS. Classy fellow.
