I think you are reading them incorrectly since the tax table says otherwise. Also, you should also note that the more you make the more social security is removed, and that is a fixed rate. Then, just how much has your state withholdings changed? California it is a never ending rise.

I'm paying taxes involuntarily. I have no choice on where my taxes go or how little I pay. If I'm paying more in taxes, which would not be my choice, I'd be fine with it if it went towards a worthy cause. Again, let me say it louder: I HAVE NO CHOICE ON HOW MUCH MY TAXES ARE OR WHERE THEY GO TO.
