What would happen if 3 teams tie for 2nd Wild Card?

Recommended Posts

There are rules already set up for up to four teams tying in a variety of scenarios involving one or more spots up for grabs.

A five-way tie is not planned for, but the odds of one are pretty low.

Tiebreakers are as follow:

1. Total number of players on 40 man roster to bang a Kardashian (including the grandmother and Caitlyn)

2. Managers have lasagna eating contest

3. Teams designate one former player to compete in bubble gum distribution contest.

4. Teams sit around and compare worst FA signings ever, a la the apartment/Andrea Doria Seinfeld episode.

5-way would require an additional day of games:

Round 1)  E plays D

Round 2A)  A plays winner of Round 1

Round 2B) C plays B

Round 3) Winners of round 2

winner of round 3 then get in to the wild card game.

I love how you guys are trying to seriously figure this out for The Yankees, Orioles, Rangers, and two other teams not named Angels.

While we are worrying about things that aren't happening for a while... Who does everyone like in the 2020 election?

I've predicted that Hillary Clinton would be elected president every 4 years since 2008. Eventually I have to be proven right. Edited by ScottLux
