Just to note, I don't really have much of a problem with the original op.  When all things are made fun of, it isn't right to expect your faith not be.

 

I still see a disconnect on how certain people can mock, not just make fun of, a belief system that someone they claim to be friends with has.  There is still a thing called respect.

 

For instance, there are things I may believe, in fact I am sure many on here know those beliefs, but that doesn't mean I will state them just to mock them.

 

Imagine the response on here if I had told someone they were going to hell.  Some may laugh, but others would have a fit because I would be so mean to say something like that.
