Perez had a nice walk today in the 9th.  But I thought we were immune to playing catchers 3-4 days in a row?

He went from having one of his better seasons to having his absolute worst.  

 

It's impressive how if two guys have normal seasons instead of catastrophically horrendous ones, this is a completely different team.  

 

Seriously though, call up Bandy.  FFS, his defense is excellent and he's done well with the bat the last two years.  He's got good power and makes good contact.  It's worth a shot.

I have no problem giving Perez regular playing time. He's got a better squat, and if he gets more at bats, I can see him being a .250 hitter. He's going to strike out a lot less often, too.
