This really isn't a playoff team in any facet to be honest with you. Can't build momentum, can't do well in clutch situations, can't hit with 2 outs, can't finish off innings with 2 outs, can't hit very well, no frontline starter, shaky bullpen. As much as I've been waiting for this team to wake up maybe it's not going to happen and this is a .500 or a little better team.

Only 1.5 out of first, but I can't say I have a whole lot of faith in them once/if they get in the playoffs.

Odd note: the Angels' run differential is only 9 more than the A's, yet the A's are 10 games worse.

That game last night was pitiful. How do they struggle so bad against Jiminez?? He's been complete shit since the All Star break and he owned us last night. I swear the Angels don't even scout other teams

The pitching has been almost as bad as the offense has. They have a 4.63 team ERA during this horrible stretch.

 

The whole team has basically decided to start sucking all at once.
