You've been there, so you've seen it. That's actually common in the Midwest and the South.

They are behind the times, but extremely unaware of stuff like this. You always see old dudes wearing the Walmart hip clothing.

Heck, the young cool kids wear Abercrombie and have the 90s Eminem Cesar haircuts.

I went to school in MO in 1997 & 1998. Every dude wore silvertabs and tommy hillfiger button downs w/construction boots.

What I see the most in my recent visits is button down shirts (Abercrombie or the other similar company, I think American Eagle, one with the same cheap looking material), Miller's Outpost jeans...still silvertabs, but with running shoes and the same Cesar haircut.

I guess Steve Jobs with a Cesar haircut and purposely wrinkled button down.

It just depends.  In the cities people seem to be pretty up on fashion and all that gay shit.  In the suburbs and the country they all shop at walmart or mills fleet farm and wear lots of flannel.  Just like Riverside or Victorville or any of those other shitty IE cities.

The amount of casual racism is pretty striking though.

My grandparents sent me a Chiefs one, the pullover with the velcro pouch in front.

Growing up in gangbanger land, I got clown for a vibrant tomato red and yellow jacket.

My cousin out there still wears the Chiefs Zoobas for the lolz.

we spent a couple of Christmas breaks in nebraska, and the amount of chiefs gear we saw there and in st. joseph, MO was always very impressive. lots of fan support for their team.

I liked Nebraska. Sure, the weather hits both ends of the extreme spectrum, but the people were nice and the atmosphere was completely relaxing. My former BIL was a also a member of the local country club and we could play 18 for only $20. It was a nice way to get out of the house, too.
