Astros Fans

Think for a moment about what it means to be an Astros fan. Their city is a mosquito infested humidity hell. Zero World Series wins. The only championships the city has came courtesy of a 7 foot Nigerian who took advantage of Jordan's basketball hiatus.

They've waited a long time for this moment. I hope they enjoy it before ownership decides to go full Loria and sell off again.

And for the record.........We're still gonna win the division.

I went to Houston a few times for business, usually in the summer.  You nailed it with the description - "mosquito infested humidity hell."

One more thing to point out. The Angels just played 6 road games, 2 without Trout, one each against the ERA leader in each league and another against a 3 time Cy winner......And they still have a better road record than the Astros. When everything evens out and all the trade deadline hoopla is past we're in damn good shape.

The baseball equivalent of Seahawk Bandwagon fans.

No thats definitely Royals fans.  Their attendance has gone up by an average of 10,000 a game.  And they are full of fans who just started watching baseball this year and are acting like they have been die hard Royals fans their whole lives, but clearly lack the humility that would come along with being a fan of a team that had been irrelevant for three decades.

A college buddy of mine sang in the opera there for several years. The two things that stand out for him were the humidity and the traffic.

Houston.  It's like LA, but with more humidity and more conservatives.

If the devil had a house in Hell, and a house in Houston, he'd live in Hell and rent the house in Houston out.
