I think the standard Angels' strategy has worked to perfection this season. First, beat up on the 20 or so mediocre to bad teams to acquire enough wins to qualify for post season. As a result, getting beat up by the few quality teams doesn't matter. Finally, get rolled in the playoffs. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Most relievers are a streaky mess.  Trading for them usually doesn't work out in the long run.  Street is almost so notable an exception as to be a candidate for the name of the rule's only exception.
