I was wondering when you were going to post about it. Huge loss right? Leaves you guys really thin at TE.

Phone died about 6pm last night while walking the dogs. Didn't find out till this morning.

Yup big loss. Especially the way Sark likes to use his TEs.

Leaves USC with 3 TE on scholarship.

Telfair

Dixon

Chris Wilson transfer from Wake Forest.

Edit- Wilson isn't on scholarship. He did play in some games last yr though and is a better blocker than pass catcher. He started the Oregon State game last season

More 3 stars have been drafted too the NFL in the 10 years than 4 or 5 star.

The way I heard it was that 3* often have more physical ability and athleticism but are more raw. Stars are based off of immediate impact. A 5* might not really improve much but a 3* had a much higher ceiling especially with good coaching and S & C.

I bet the percentage of 4 and 5 star players drafted is higher. There are just way more three star players. Edited by RallyMo

USC grabs a verbal from a 2016 prospect. 4* OLB Daelin Hayes out of Michigan.

Rumor has it he will transfer to a school in So. Cal to finish his HS career

It's official. He's leaving the state of Michigan and moving to Southern California. He's a big time linebacker prospect.

USC starting 2 true freshman on the offensive line Saturday vs FSU.

Toa Lobendahn and Damien Mama. Both at guard

Edit- both guards Aundrey Walker (broken leg vs UCLA) and Jordan Simmons (ACL) have been slow coming back from rehab for their injuries. Lobedahn will probably stick at his guard position regardless, Mama is most likely just filling in. Walker might end up redshirting this season he's been that slow to recover from his injury

Also 2 star recruit Ajene Harris from Crenshaw is starting at Slow WR. His only other offer was from SDSU. Tee Martin personally recruited this player and begged Oregeron to offer him.

He compares him to Randall Cobb (who Martin coached at Kentucky). Both played QB in HS and became deadly wr at the next level.

Not to mention JuJu Smith and Adoree Jackson will play both ways.

USC expects 11 true frosh to play this season and 7 to redshirt.
