When Marinelli coached the lions (0-16), a reporter asked him if he wished his daughter had married a better defensive coordinator.

Tells you all you need to know about Barry.

LOL - awesome. Well, at least he’s shown a track record of being in dysfunctional organizations

Im a "lucky" fan of both the Lions and Trojan football.  Talk about 2 dumpster fires with leadership blindly tethered to the guy leading them right over a cliff...

May Allah bless you and keep you safe.  You poor, poor child.  How did you happen to get caught in that Venn diagram of incompetence?

LSU Just Took A Recruit From USC

Cornerback Dwight McGlothern was supposedly a silent commit to USC.

He visited USC in mid-December and was going to announce in January. That’s was right around when Mike Bohn made his big “four silent commitments” comment.

But then LSU got interested. Suddenly, McGlothern said he was delaying his announcement.

McGlothern never even visited LSU but was told in the past couple days he would fit into the Tigers’ recruiting class. He committed to LSU this morning.

LSU has five ex-USC coaches — Ed Orgeron, Tommie Robinson, Kenechi Udeze, James Cregg, John Robinson — so taking a recruit from USC is probably a lot of fun.

Sounds like the DC search is down to Joe Barry (who just got fired) and Todd Orlando (fired at Texas, had good stints at Utah state and Houston)

dark horse - Kris Richard. I don’t see this happening. He’ll have plenty of nfl opportunities

Looks like it’s Todd Orlando. I don’t mind it, some fans  hate it.

as someone who is far more an observer of college football than most in this thread, i find it fascinating how much several of you twist and turn about the coaching staff. my general impression is that USC fans haven't been satisfied with the coaching staff since cheating petey left for seattle, and that they won't be satisfied for a considerable amount of time in the foreseeable future.

Even when they hired Pete , what was he like the 4th choice behind Mike Reily, Dennis Erickson..who else?

It seems like  most fan bases aren’t satisfied with their hires, or at least there are a few who complain.

look at Tennessee . Their fans single handily got the Tennessee admin to turn away Greg Schiano lol.

Graduate, then transfer, and still have two years eligibility. He most likely won’t be able to practice until Fall because of rehab on his knee, so there really shouldn’t be a qb competition

Why wouldn't he just transfer at the end of this year?
