From Bill Shaikin: Hall of Fame decides BBWAA members more than 10 years removed from actively covering the game can no longer vote for Hall of Fame.

 

 

Pretty big change, you have to wonder if some of the steroid era players will get a second look as you get some of the purists...who don't actually cover baseball...get booted.

 

 

Positive change (and not because of the steroid issue...but just having people who actually follow the game vote on HOF inductees).
