So we are trading Robertson for Robertson with less range in the outfield while increasing payroll. Not so sure this move is Moneyball perfect.

I'm not sure if you live in Socal but there are Dunkin Donuts here with more being built.

Sources: Victorino has about $4.9M left in salary on 3-year, $39M deal; Red Sox will pay about $3.8M, with the Angels responsible for $1.1M.

So if the Angels had to pick up the entire $4.9M would he still be considered part of the solution.

We can't send him down without offering him back. My guess is we keep him for the year, during September his already limited playing time disappears, starts next year in AAA, and the following year is an inexpensive candidate to compete for Aybar's possible vacancy.
