Looks like Donnie Baseball want to beat the Halos in the worst way...

He's got to be spooked by the Giants, who are sizzling hot. Every series is important now. His job is probably on the line if the Dodgers miss the playoffs. And a wild card is not at all assured, with Pittsburgh and Chicago playing so well.

Are pretty flippin' important...of course the Dodgers miss Richards while the Halos get Kershaw & Greinke.

Is winning 2 of 3 in H-Town and winning 2 of 3 at Chavez Latrine too much to ask?

UPDATED: 7/29 - AGAIN

Tuesday: C.J. Wilson vs. Collin McHugh

Wednesday: Garrett Richards vs. Lance McCullers

Thursday: Hector Santiago vs. Scott Kazmir

Friday: Andrew Heaney vs. Clayton Kershaw

Saturday: Matt Shoemaker vs. Zack Greinke

Sunday: C.J. Wilson vs. Mike Bolsinger

Angels answered appropriately

0-5 and now it's up to Drew Rucinski to get them to salvage just 1 win on this trip

These 6 games will pretty much end their season

Every season has a game or short series of games that makes or breaks the season.

If the Angels end up missing the post season by one or two games, I will blame the outcome on Scioscia's inappropriate use of Salas on this road trip.

Last season had we missed the postseason I was set to blame the outcome on that one time in Cleveland that Scioscia sent in Cam Bedrosian to get the save, then after Cam loaded the bases he brought on Frieri to hit a walk off grand slam, when Mike Morin was not only available to pitch but actually warmed up.

Turns out the Angels win the division thanks to a four game sweep of the A's immediately after they traded for Jon Lester.

2013 season ended fairly early, with a four game sweep of the Angels by the 51-101 Houston Astros.

2012 came down to the extra inning game in Texas in which the Angels failed to plate a critical insurance run with a one run lead due to Scioscia forgetting to pinch run Bourjos for Morales. Frieri actually picked up two blown saves that game.
