Because Aybar is Scioscia's fault.

I don't know why everyone is giving Aybar crap for not tagging the runner at second. IMO the failure on that play was on Pujols for tagging first, instead of immediately throwing to Aybar to set up a traditional 3-6-3 double play. It was far from automatic that Aybar would have made the tag at second given the fact that the throw took Aybar fairly far from the basepath.

Back onto the topic of the main poll, IMO a couple of viable options were missing:

Fire Gary "The Windmill" Disarcina

Fire Arte "Jerry Jones" Moreno

Fire Mike "The Butcher" Butcher

Sorry but you are wrong. He was too close to the bag to not touch it then throw to second. He had plenty of time to tag him, he had a brain fart and threw home instead. Also Aybar missed the earlier throw from Albert.

It's fine.  everything is fine.  we are just gonna turn the page and see how it goes.  take it day by day and feel our way through things.  gotta get joycey back on track.

We've seen some good things from Connie and we think he's help us grind it out.  just grind it out.  grind grind grind.  everything is ok.  it will be fine.  just keep taking things one pitch at a time and grinding it out.

It was a bad throw but that is a ball that gets caught 95% of the time. Hell Albert catches throws like that all the time.

He had a runner barreling down on him from the same angle as the ball.  That ball rarely gets caught.

Anyway still the Angels lost that game because Santiago and Smith laid an egg.

They also need to do something about LF and DH.  Cron and Joyce are ****ing awful.  Kubitza and Robertson are not the answer.
