Big time grandstanding but it's always nice when a senator calls out the BS. Too bad he's dead wrong on so many issues.

the comments are classic.  They would be funny if they weren't so sad.

 

Instead of actually listening to the speech they either immediately go after Cruz (not for the speech) for his overall politics.  Then you have those who defend Cruz (for his politics).

 

Very few discuss the actual speech and what it implies.

His speech was great. I hope that he truly holds the principles he professed. I don't know much about T. Cruz except that he looks like a serial murderer.

I enjoyed his rhetoric in this speech.  Of course, any speech built on blasting McConnell and Reid has a solid foundation.

Cruz seems like the wanna be over achiever in high school/college that everyone wanted to kick in the nuts. Probably lucky he wasn't in the military, you could easily picture him being fragged.
