Although the Indians have struggled on the field, they haven't lost perspective.  Just only 2 months ago his 4 yr old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and is getting care at one of the best clinics in the nation. He needs to stay close to his daughter at the Cleveland Clinic. Well done Indians!

Very classy move that not many GM's would have made. Billy Beane, who has a reputation of being quite a bit of an ass (unlike his depiction in Moneyball), probably would have traded the guy unnecessarily out of spite.
