Even if we're not going to trade for someone, which we clearly need to do, Navarro and Green types are way better options in LF than Joyce is. Robertson obviously is too but I know he's hurt.

Really starting to think that this keeping Featherston on the roster for a year thing is going to be a serious waste. I was in favor at first, but you can only keep someone hitting .130 who looks unprepared for the big leagues in most ways on the roster for so long.

Really starting to think that this keeping Featherston on the roster for a year is going to be a serious waste. I was in favor at first, but you can only keep someone hitting .130 who looks unprepared for the big leagues in most ways on the roster for so long.

He's only there as a protective net for Joyce, so that Joyce never has the lowest average of the playing regulars. 0 for his last 21.

Part of the Angels needs this deadline is improving their bench and adding another power bat. They can help their bench a ton by just removing Joyce and Featherston from the roster and replacing them with anybody else

Best way to improve the bench is to get a platoon partner for Cron (on top of filling the obvious LF need). That way you get either that person or Cron on the bench as a PH option.
