That won't work either, he'll spend at least 10 seconds once the ball is hit to analyze which route he's going to take, and then choose the wrong one.

 

I really like this version of Cron, similar to the Spring Training version.  If he can stay consistent, then we can scratch a DH type.  That really helps to narrow down the July search as far a player characteristics are concerned.  A real hitter who can play LF well, and maybe one more relief guy, I'm good with that.  If that can't be accomplished, then go back to the Salt Lake well and bring up some kid with a little more energy and spunk.

Last night I thought Hunters .258/14/59 line wouldn't look bad in LF.
