Too little, too late.  This staff is a mess and can't throw strikes.  Whatever it is that he's telling them isn't taking.  They need a fresh approach.

And times like this.  Makes me wonder that 2002 was a product of Scioscia, Black, Maddon, Roenicke.  Now that 3 of the 4 have been replaced by minor leaguers, we are seeing just that.  

It's pretty clear Black and Maddon especially had a huge role in our success a decade ago.

He signed a three year back at the end of 2011 and then he just signed a new two year last off season that tacked on to the end of his current contract. No chance of getting him until 2017. Not unless he starts sucking.

I like Sosh, but has there ever been a time he has taken any heat upon himself? I mean, whether any of this is his fault or not is for another discussion  but commonly when teams are underperforming in any sport, the manager takes the heat upon himself to protect players and coaches, but I can't ever think of a time Sosh has done that.

Exactly this. Scioscia has never said, "you know, this one is on me. I am not doing a good job getting these guys prepared."

That would be so refreshing but he is so damn stubborn.
