Firing Scioscia would force Moreno to admit the ten year deal was a horrific decision. There's 5.8 years left on the deal. $18 million for the last 3. That's a hell of a lot of money to eat for somebody who isn't even on the roster.

Arte needs to seriously look himself in the mirror and question his decision making process if it gets to the point Scioscia must go.

Managers can only do so much. The pitching staff and bullpen are a complete joke. I'd say the problems are the Owner and GM but I'm more of an outside observer. Ron Washington is a horrible manager when it comes to X's and O's but Rangers management is able to cover his deficiencies with talent. He in turn is able to keep the clubhouse in order and personalities in check. Just watch Washington manage against the National league, it is brutal.

Being a good clubhouse manager used to be  a hallmark of Scioscia's style too.  Now I doubt he ever leaves his office and wonder if he even develops relationships with his players anymore.
